Maybe if its more than just 2 of you....
My fiance and I went there on a Sunday evening. The wait was approx. 30 minutes - which we didn't mind. The outside waiting area was nice. We were seated and that's when it all began. The waiter was more focused on the party of 8 beside that he almost didn't even know we were there. The staff was incredibly unfriendly and didn't respond as they whisked by our table and picked up the empty dishes. One of the salads came with the incorrect dressing and the waiter tried to make up excuses. The steak was bland and overcooked. At the end of the meal we requested boxes to take the remaining home to our dog; the waiter brought the boxes and new table of 8 was sitting in his area; they requested a move and the waiter became obsessed with keeping them in his area - he was so distracted he hit my fiancé in the face with one of the boxes; he then tossed the box on the table and walked away without apologizing. He came back about 5 minutes later and threw the check on the table and walked away.
Never have I had just an infuriating experience. Perhaps if we would have had another 6 people with us we would have been treated as people.
User review by susan_allen. The menu has something for everyone. The nachos are to die for and my husband gets the prime rib everytime we visit. It's cooked to perfection and comes with a loaded backed potato and salad. Great place for the kids as well.
Great Restaurant. Carolina Roadhouse is absolutely the best place to dine in Myrtle Beach. The interior has beautiful architecture and design with potted palms and lots of woodwork. The house salad with the house dressing (warm bacon) is wonderful. My favorite entree is the Filet Mignon steak that melts in your mouth. Save room for New York style cheesecake or Key Lime pie! This restaurant is definitely worth your time and money!!
Great place to eat. This is a great restaurant, owned by the same people that have California Dreaming in Charleston and Columbia. The food is great (try the beef rib, it is outstanding), and so is the service. Come early at night or be prepared to wait, as it fills up fast. But it is very much worth the wait.
more than seafood. i have never eaten seafood when at the Roadhouse.it is mainly known for its ribs and prime rib. we go there every year while in Myrtle beach.the best ribs in the town and a grreat deal at 13.95
