Excellent Italian Cuisine. We are snowbirds in Myrtle Beach for the winter and have dined at Rossi's several times and have never been disappointed. I have always ordered something with red sauce because it is so good. The eggplant parmesan is my absolute favorite. The garlic bread they serve with every meal is the best I have ever experienced. I would recommend this fabulous restaurant to anyone visiting this area.
worst "nice" restaurant I have been to in a long while. Even good restaurants have a bad day every now and then. Then there are restaurants that think they are doing you a favor to take your money. Rossi's fits this bill. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. For the $40 plus entre I had, I felt taken. I have had beter meals and service at Chilis or Applebees...The decor is nice, but our service was rushed. Our entres came before we were finished with our salads, and then our server kept asking to take our plates when we were only half done. We are fast eaters by the way. This was early and a slow night. There was no need to rush. My steak was supposed to be 13 ozs. I would estimate it was half of that. It was undercooked and the sides were cold. On the way out, I politely mentioned this to the manager and all he could think to say was thats not the Rossi way and he turned and walked off. Can't think of of a worse way to make someone feel cheated. I can occassionaly forgive bad food, but its had to forgive apathy. Myrtle beach had many great restaurants, Rossi's is certainly not one of them.
I have never had such a bad experience, Terrible food and so overpriced its rediculous!!!!!. Let's see, my wife ordered Linquini with seafood, where did you ever see that come served with cheese on it right from the kitchen. My oldest son ordered chicken parmesan and it came out so overcooked it was crusty and hard, he said he had much better chicken parm at the local pizzeria for a quarter of the price. My middle son ordered Fettucini Alfredo, he took one bite and the pasta was over cooked and the Alfredo sauce was so wattery and absolutely no taste at all. My baby who is 7 years old ordered the Lasagna, we are still not sure what kind of pasta came out but nothing close to any thing that resembles Lasagna. I Ordered Penne with Sausage, can you believe the sausage came out in whole pieces not sliced so I had to eat my pasta with a knife in my hand and the penne where also very over cooked. My whole families opinion is save alot of money and get much better food at the local McDonalds, you will be much better off.
Expensive mediocre food. I went to the restaurant based on a local recommendation. The food quality was average to below average. The crab claws were small and drenched in butter. The filet was charred and lost its tenderness. The snapper was soaked in butter. No other flavors except for butter and oil. The service was inconsitent although the wait staff was generally friendly. The cost was about 50$ per person without wine or drinks. I wouldn't return. For an average meal, I could spend much less.
