It's the BEST!!!. Well ever since I tried ocean garden. I always go there anytime I get the chance to go there and eat. The food is never disappointing and it will always be my favorite chinese restaurant. So I recommend the food trust me you'll love it :)

Cockroach on menu????. We went to the Ocean Garden for brunch. Food looked good. As we got our food and sat down, I noticed a COCKROACH crawling across the table. I killed it with my napkin and called the owner over. I showed him the cockroach and told him we are not paying for the meals. As we left, we shouted to the other patrons that we had a cockroach on our table. Some patrons got up and left also.

Okay if you are looking for chinese food. We went to the Ocean Garden buffet on the last day of our Myrtle Beach vacation. Me and my mom were craving Chinese and my brother wanted crab legs. When we arrived the outside looked shabby but we decided to try the restaurant anyway. The inside was a pleasant surprise and we had a really nice waiter. The chinese food was good! As was the prime rib! but the seafood was not fresh and my brother's crab legs were not fresh. They do have a make your own stirfry station which was nice. I would recommend you go for the lunch buffet and enjoy the chinese food! It was a good experience overall and we will probably return here next year!

hey..at least the apple turnovers are good. From other reviews of this restaurant on other sites..I was expecting at least DECENT food..

Unfortunately, I was greeted with hardened old greasy Chinese food. There was barley any seafood; so don't let the Ocean part of the restaurant name confuse you. EXTREMELY disappointed on the quality and taste of the food. A few things were edible: BBQ spare ribs, cream cheese wantons, apple turnovers, and green beans. The rest of the food tasted as though it was cook days before and was presented in such a sloppy fashion.

The workers serving the food was trying their best to keep everything tidy..but i think they needed more help. The waitress spoke broken English barely understandable. She was doing what she could with the 6 other tables she was waiting on.

OVERALL: DON'T GO HERE IF YOU ARE EXPECTING DECENT AUTHENTIC CHINESE FOOD
